Our custom-built hand riveted narrowboats mark a return to the older and more traditional methods of boatbuilding.

This vessel truly stands out as a landmark project in boatbuilding, taking a design from around 1900 and bringing it up-to-date using traditional techniques. The last such boat known to have been built using this design and method dates from over 60 years ago: 

 • 61 foot long

 • 14 tonnes of steel

 • over 8000 drilled holes

 • 5000 hot rivets applied by hand

 • thousands of man hours

 • first boat of this design built since circa 1947
